Welcome to Okra Readings (“Okra Readings,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, booking, accessing, or participating in any reading or other service provided by Okra Readings, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not purchase or use our services.
Okra Readings provides paid readings in which playing cards are used as a prop and entertainment device to facilitate an interpretive, creative, and recreational experience.
All readings, interpretations, statements, impressions, themes, and information provided by Okra Readings are offered for entertainment purposes only.
Okra Readings does not represent that its readings constitute professional, licensed, certified, medical, mental-health, legal, financial, business, or other professional advice.
Any information communicated during a reading should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified and licensed professional.
Readings are interpretive and subjective in nature. Okra Readings makes no guarantee, representation, or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or applicability of anything communicated during a reading.
Statements made during a reading are not guarantees of future events or outcomes.
You acknowledge that any decisions you make, actions you take, or consequences that result from information discussed during a reading are solely your responsibility.
Okra Readings does not provide professional advice through its readings.
In particular, readings should not be relied upon for decisions concerning:

The use of playing cards is part of the format and presentation of the service. Okra Readings does not claim that the cards possess supernatural, predictive, diagnostic, or other objectively verifiable powers.
Any interpretation provided during a reading is an expression of the reading experience and should be understood accordingly.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Okra Readings and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, representatives, and service providers shall not be responsible or liable for any decision, action, loss, damage, expense, injury, or other outcome arising from or related to a reading or any information communicated during a reading.
You voluntarily participate in readings and assume responsibility for how you interpret and use anything communicated during the service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Any similarities between statements, interpretations, descriptions, circumstances, persons, places, situations, or events discussed during a reading and actual persons, situations, or events may be coincidental.
Okra Readings does not represent that any apparent similarity establishes a factual connection, prediction, identification, or other real-world correspondence.
Okra Readings does not consent to the audio or video recording of any reading, consultation, session, conversation, or other interaction with Okra Readings without prior verbal and/or written permission from Okra Readings.
You may not record, livestream, photograph, reproduce, distribute, publish, upload, or otherwise capture or disseminate an Okra Readings session without obtaining the required prior permission.
Permission, if granted, may be subject to specific conditions or limitations and applies only to the recording or use expressly authorized by Okra Readings.
Nothing in this section is intended to restrict any recording right that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted under applicable law.
The customer acknowledges and agrees that payment to Okra Readings is for TIME spent providing the reading service, not for any particular prediction, outcome, result, statement, interpretation, or other content.
The amount of time associated with a purchase is UP TO the maximum amount of time corresponding to the amount purchased. The stated or advertised duration represents a maximum period of reading time and is not a guaranteed minimum duration.
For example, if a customer purchases a reading advertised as “up to 30 minutes,” the customer is purchasing the opportunity to receive up to 30 minutes of reading time, subject to these Terms. The customer is not purchasing a guarantee that the reading will last the entire 30-minute period.
Okra Readings reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to provide less than the maximum purchased reading time. The determination of the amount of time provided may take into consideration the circumstances of the reading, the customer's conduct, scheduling considerations, availability, communication issues, or other circumstances determined by Okra Readings.
Payment is therefore for access to the reading service and the time allocated to providing that service, up to the applicable maximum—not for a guaranteed outcome or guaranteed amount of completed conversation.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and reasonably accessible contact information and for being available at the agreed-upon or scheduled time.
If Okra Readings needs to contact the customer regarding a reading, appointment, scheduling matter, or other service-related issue, Okra Readings will attempt to contact the customer no more than three (3) times using the contact information provided by the customer, unless otherwise required by applicable circumstances.
If the customer does not respond to or otherwise fails to acknowledge Okra Readings' contact attempts, Okra Readings may, at its discretion, consider the service attempt concluded, reschedule the service, or take another action consistent with these Terms.
Failure by the customer to respond to the permitted contact attempts, appear for a scheduled reading, or remain reasonably available for the service does not create an automatic entitlement to additional reading time, a refund, or a replacement service.
All purchases and paid reading time are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly provided by Okra Readings in writing.
Because customers purchase access to up to a specified amount of reading time, rather than a guaranteed minimum amount of time or a guaranteed result, the customer agrees that unused portions of the maximum available reading time do not automatically create a right to a refund, credit, extension, or additional service.
By purchasing a reading, the customer acknowledges and accepts this policy before payment.
Okra Readings reserves the right, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to refuse, decline, suspend, or discontinue service to any customer at any time.

Okra Readings may also decline to begin or may end a reading if, in Okra Readings' reasonable judgment, continuing the interaction is inappropriate, impractical, unsafe, or inconsistent with these Terms.
Okra Readings will not refuse or discontinue service on a basis prohibited by applicable law.
If Okra Readings refuses or discontinues a service after payment has been made, any refund, credit, or other remedy will be determined in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. A refusal or discontinuation of service does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
Customers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and appropriately when interacting with Okra Readings, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, representatives, or other persons involved in providing the service.
Customers may not engage in conduct that is threatening, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, disruptive, unlawful, or otherwise interferes with Okra Readings' ability to provide its services.
Customers are also expected to comply with these Terms & Conditions, including the provisions concerning payment, scheduling, recording, and the entertainment-only nature of the services.
If a customer violates these Terms, engages in inappropriate or disruptive conduct, attempts to record or distribute a reading without required permission, fails to cooperate with reasonable scheduling or service requirements, or otherwise interferes with the provision of the service, Okra Readings may refuse, suspend, terminate, or discontinue the reading or other service in accordance with the “Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service” provision of these Terms.
Okra Readings may also end a reading when, in its reasonable judgment, continuing the interaction is inappropriate, impractical, unsafe, or inconsistent with the nature of the service.
A customer's violation of these Terms or conduct resulting in the termination of a reading does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund, replacement reading, additional reading time, credit, or other compensation, except where required by applicable law.
Nothing in this section authorizes Okra Readings to refuse or discontinue service on a basis prohibited by applicable law.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to purchase our services.
If you are under the age of majority applicable to you, you may only participate with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by applicable law.
Information collected in connection with your purchase or use of Okra Readings services may be handled in accordance with our applicable privacy practices and any separate Privacy Policy we publish.
You should avoid providing sensitive personal information during a reading unless it is reasonably necessary for the service.
Unless otherwise stated, the Okra Readings name, branding, logos, written materials, website content, graphics, recordings, and other original materials associated with the business are owned by or licensed to Okra Readings and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without permission.
Okra Readings may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated Terms will become effective when posted or otherwise made available, unless a different effective date is stated.
Your continued use or purchase of Okra Readings services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to Okra Readings, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the services shall be handled in accordance with applicable law.
These Terms, together with any applicable booking terms, purchase terms, policies, or agreements expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement between you and Okra Readings concerning the services.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific written agreement applicable to a particular service, the specific agreement will control to the extent of the conflict.
